Maureen Lennon-Schafer

Maureen Lennon-Schafer, LCSW

founder | Therapist |Clinical supervisor

Maureen Lennon-Schafer, founder of Presence of Mind Therapy, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 17 years of experience providing mental health support to individuals at multiple levels of care.


Maureen is certified in Trauma, Grief, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). In her work Maureen draws from CBT, DBT, Spirituality, Somatic Processing, Psychodynamic, Polyvagal, and Systems Theory.

 

Maureen’s background in Social Work has afforded her opportunities to advocate for marginalized and oppressed populations. Maureen is passionate about empowering others and the collective healing of Mother Earth.

Erin Guzman LSW

Erin Guzman, LSW

Lead Therapist

Erin is a Licensed Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work degree, as well as two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Cell Biology and Neuroscience and Psychology, all from Rutgers University. Erin understands that mental health is important at every stage of life and impacts everyone’s physical health and overall functioning. She will work to meet you where you are in the present moment and help you to identify treatment goals that will help you get to the place you want to be. Erin aims to empower her clients to create the space, balance, time, and strength to process and embrace their emotional and mental needs through the utilization of a strengths-based approach combined with various evidence-based treatment therapies. In addition to CBD, DBT, Attachment Theory and Polyvagal Theory, Erin has added Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) to her treatment repertoire and has experience treating a variety of issues.   

Andrea Fine

Andrea Fine, LSW

Andrea received her Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University and is a dedicated, compassionate therapist who provides a safe and supportive space for clients to explore life’s challenges. She has experience working with individuals navigating blended families, fertility struggles, divorce, anxiety, and depression.

Andrea takes a client-centered approach, meeting each person where they are and tailoring therapy to their unique needs. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and other evidence-based modalities to help clients build resilience, gain insight, and develop effective coping strategies.

With a wealth of life experience, Andrea understands the complexities of change and transition. She brings warmth, empathy, and perspective to her work, creating a space where clients feel heard and supported. Whether working with young adults or individuals facing major life shifts, she is committed to helping clients find balance, confidence, and healing.


Krystyna Soljan, LCSW Therapist

Krystyna Soljan, LCSW Therapist

Krystyna received her MSW in 2013 from the Silberman School of Social Work at CUNY Hunter College and obtained her LCSW license in 2025. Krystyna’s training in community organizing informs her systems-based perspective as a therapist, which sees each person as embedded within, and reacting to, their wider social environment. As a first-generation American, Krystyna speaks both Polish and Spanish and has worked with a wide range of individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. She uses a strengths-focused and relational approach to set goals and treatment plans collaboratively, guiding clients to make meaningful improvements in their lives and interpersonal relationships. For the past 4 years she has worked with children and adolescents in outpatient and school-based settings, addressing concerns ranging from anxiety and depression to social skills, interpersonal conflicts and behavioral challenges with authenticity and playful rapport. In addition to using CBT, mindfulness and somatic modalities, Krystyna is pursuing ongoing training in ecotherapy and horticultural therapy. She is enthusiastic about harnessing the incredible power of nature for mental health and wellbeing through outdoor mindfulness practices and plant-based healing activities.

Lauren Gonnella

Lauren Gonnella, Licensed Associate Counselor Intern

Lauren is a student at Seton Hall University working towards a MA & Ed.S. in professional counseling. Lauren is a Licensed Associate Counselor in training. She has a passion for supporting moms, as she is one herself, and understands the load it carries. She also has a Master’s in Adolescent Education and was a Middle School teacher for many years, helping her understand the complexity of adolescents and their unique developmental stage. Lauren draws from Humanistic, Person-Centered Therapy, Attachment Theory, and inner child work as foundations for healing and personal growth. Lauren is active in her Summit community as a Green Team leader and girls’ basketball coach. She can be spotted around town with her husband, three daughters, and two dogs. 


Nicoletta Agostino

Christian Cadmus, Licensed Associate Counselor Intern

Christian Cadmus is working towards his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The College of New Jersey. Christian is passionate about helping others develop healthy and effective coping skills, while still honoring their personal life experiences. He specializes in working with athletes of all levels in navigating through various mental health concerns related to their sport. As a former track and cross country runner of 10 years, competing at the youth, high school, and collegiate levels, he draws on both personal experience and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) when working with clients to elicit effective change and healing. Additionally, he uses mindfulness based practices such as meditation, visualization, and deep breathing to help bring clients to the here and now. Christian strives to create a safe space for athletes to explore their own thoughts and athletic identity, while implementing evidence-based practices to enhance sport performance and promote optimal well-being. 

Vanessa Vicari

Sarah GArcia, Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern

Sarah Garcia is currently earning her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Seton Hall University, where she is also pursuing an Ed.S. in Professional Counseling. She works with adolescents and young adults, supporting them in developing effective coping skills, emotional awareness, and resilience while honoring their unique personal and cultural experiences. Sarah is especially passionate about working with children, a commitment shaped by her volunteer experiences and internship at The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital. Through her academic training and clinical experiences, she has worked with individuals navigating anxiety, stress, identity development, and life transitions. Using a person-centered approach and evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Sarah creates a supportive and nonjudgmental space that fosters insight, growth, and long-term well-being.
